Williams is the closest city to the Grand Canyon! A guest can hop on the Grand Canyon Railway for a day tour at the Grand Canyon, enjoy Williams ’Jeep tours, participate in tour guided trips Legacies suggests, and take a horse drawn carriage ride. In house, guests may cozy up to a roaring fire in the Great Room in winter, or in spring and summer watch hummingbirds zip in and out of cascading, fragrant flowers. Whatever the season, there is plenty to do in Williams or in the surrounding areas. Snow arrives usually in November, and summer temps are delightful-highs in the 80's, and night temperatures in the low 60's!

This B&B occupies a 5000 square foot home. The foyer is accentuated with a lovely curved oak stairway.Two rooms are on the first level, including the popular Legacies Suite and Route 66. These romantic rooms offer illuminated two person whirlpool tubs, showers, fireplaces for cold season. Our newest room, the Virginian, shares the upstairs alcove area with the Hawaiian Room, both with private baths and first class amenities.

We would like to thank you for your interest in the Sheridan House Inn B&B and share some of the information we have gathered regarding The Grand Canyon and other wonderful things to see and do in Northern Arizona. We are located only 2 1/2 hours from Sky Harbor, the Phoenix airport and only 3 1/2 hours from Las Vegas. One of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts is situated on two secluded acres in the historic mountain town of Williams and only 45 minutes to the Canyon. We border and are surrounded by one of the largest remaining stands of cool ponderosa forest yet we are still close enough to town to enjoy the walk.

Overlooking the town of Williams, Arizona, and 60 miles south of Grand Canyon, the FireLight Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay while you explore northern Arizona—or simply a wonderful place to stay. Every single room of this elegant, three-story home has recently been completely renovated and decorated in meticulous detail. The English Tudor-style exterior is beautifully complimented by the cozy, English country home décor on the inside. “Gee, I wish I lived here,” is an often-heard sentiment when our guests walk inside.

Four of the five bedrooms in this home are offered for lodging and all bedrooms feature their own FireLight fireplace, unique furnishings, colors, and view. In the summer months, all bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning units. Every bedroom also has its own brand new, vintage-style bathroom complete with shower and jetted tub. But bedrooms are only half of the story. Delicious, gourmet breakfasts are prepared every day in a beautiful and spacious kitchen into which everyone is invited.

And “inviting” is one word that will describe your experience at the FireLight. From the Living Room with its fireplace to the Dining Room with its fireplace, every room in the house has tasteful details that are fun to discover. Play a game of pool, enjoy mother nature at 7,000 feet elevation, challenge your partner on one of the "Wii" games, read a book, enjoy a game of shuffleboard on a 22 foot-long, fully restored, antique shuffleboard table, listen to a "78" on a 1947 juke box, or watch a DVD in your room. We're a short drive to the Grand Canyon and surrounded by Ponderosa pine forest.

Bill & Gloria's collections from over twenty years of living overseas are displayed throughtout the Grand Living B&B and includes antiques and collectibles from all over the world.    The home is graced by two sitting areas on the first floor, both with fireplaces.  A wrap around porch provides a quiet place to unwind on the accompanying rocking chairs.
