Celebrate Independence Day by enjoying Tucson's annual fireworks show. Fireworks are launched from the city's iconic Sentinnel Peak--otherwise known as "A" Mountain, for the giant letter made from whitewashed rocks to signify the home of the University of Arizona. The show begins at about 9:15 p.m. on July 4th and can be viewed from a variety of nearby locations. Some of our favorites include the top level of the Church Street parking garage at Church Street south of Stone Avenue; from the grounds of the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort; and from the City of Tucson's Presidio Park--adjacent City Hall in the center of Downtown Tucson. |
