The name Bedlam was chosen when I opened our Bed and Breakfast in Fountain Hills back in the 80's, intending to warn our guests about our four young girls and the pandemonium they caused. The girls are grown and off on their own but the name remains.

Nestled high on a hillside acre, a stone's throw from Scottsdale and Phoenix, our 5,000 square foot southwest territorial bed and breakfast inn home adjoins miles of virgin desert with a horizon full of spectacular views of many mountain ranges. These include the Mazatzals to the north, the 7000 foot high Four Peaks to the east, and the Superstition Mountains to the south as well as close up views of the Sonoran desert with all the abundant Arizona wildlife.

The Tumbleweed room is on the main level with a king wrought iron bed. You have a choice on the second level of the Coyote or Sunrise rooms each with a king bed. The Rosewood room with a queen bed. Each room is complete with TV, a small refrigerator, private bath, high speed internet and coffeepot just in case you like complementary coffee or juice first thing in the morning.

Our Great Fair is held the 3rd weekend in February at the Fountain Hills Lake and up the Avenue of the Fountains which attracts thousands of people. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse show is also in February which is a great site to see. We have four golf courses here in Fountain Hills to choose from if golf is your game. Hiking and biking abound in this area. Frank Llyod Wright's Taliesin West is just 15 minutes from Bedlam Bed and Breakfast. Acclaimed as one of his greatest masterpieces, Taliesin West showcases Wright's brilliant ability to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces.

Imagine yourself a privileged guest, among good friends and business associates, in the sumptuous atmosphere of a fine residence, enjoying all the comforts of home, while being catered to with the most attentive of service. Maricopa Manor is a home away from home reflecting your finest sensibilities while fulfilling your personal and professional needs.

In the very heart of North Central Phoenix in a historic residential district, less than half a minute from the intersection of Central Avenue and Camelback Road, and just four miles or ten minutes north of the downtown business district, guests can walk to Uptown Plaza with its boutique shops, many antique dealers, and delis/restaurants. Also located a short fifteen minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, Maricopa Manor is the perfect jumping off point for other Arizona destinations. The Manor is a small resort and a private oasis in the heart of Phoenix, a location catering to business travelers and vacationers.

Maricopa Manor offers seven beautiful suites, each with private bath. Many of the suites feature French doors opening onto a deck overlooking the gardens, pool, and fountains, or onto private patios, as well as gas fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and gracious living rooms.  There are kitchenettes and high speed wired and wireless Internet access in all suites.

Guests enjoy the Manor’s enclosed 1.2 acres of mature landscaping, offering a sun heated seasonal pool with waterfalls, swimmable April through October, year round warm sundeck, and the adjacent gazebo with hot tub.  An elegantly sumptuous atmosphere of a fine residence... all the comforts of home with the convenience and amenities of a fine hotel.
